Unfortunately, the onions were in bad condition and had a strong smell of rot. When we complained about this issue, the staff did not come out to address the problem, stating that they were unable to leave their post.
The restaurant is now situated in a newly established food court on the Pune-Mumbai expressway. The food court is well-maintained and appears very clean. During my visit, I ordered Thalipeeth, which was delicious, and the vegetable grilled cheese sandwich was equally satisfying. Due to the low crowd, the service was quick. It's definitely worth a visit for authentic local cuisine.
We stopped at this snack center on our way from Mumbai to Nasik. The place was clean and inviting with a variety of vegetarian food options available.
This place serves authentic Maharashtrian food at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and helpful and service is prompt. I’m a big fan of Maharashtrian cuisine, hence I was eager to try their famous dishes like, bata vada, sabudana khichadi and piyush (a drink) I’d tried all this yesterday, and liked all things too. Though this place is little bit crowded but it’s upto customers, if they behave properly, follow the queue, wait for their turn patiently, all’s will be well.
It has been shifted to a new food court nearby on Pune-Mumbai expressway. This time one of their favourite dish Misal Paav was not up to the mark. It was very watery and they were giving very less onion with it. However another dish Thalipeeth was quite good. I think the owners should seriously do something about quality. Avoid Misal Paav for sometime...
