Fodrak's - Logan County

Fodrak's has been in operation for over 25 years… Multiple ownerships over past decade or so. Gyros were always some of the best in Lake County. I no longer live near by, — so been a few years. Gyro was awesome, and fresh cut fries! Second visit a few weeks later, burger meat was very dense, and fries were not fresh cut. Disappointed.

New ownership, they’ve gotten rid of a bunch of menu items and the portions are smaller. Disappointing

I used to love this place until I went in to find that it was new owned.. I still tried to give it a try.. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely rude when I asked for a 1/2 chicken dinner with rice and potatoes.. His remark was “It only comes with one side now”.. I replied that was fine, I'd like to add a side.. He replied.. “We don't do that here”.. so you can't order a 1/2 chicken dinner with rice and add a side of potatoes?.. Under new ownership, reducing the menu, putting in cheap registers, final blow they remove steak fries from the menu. I don't see me returning anytime soon.

This was our first time eating at Fodraks, so we didn't know what to expect. We didn't know it was more of a fast food type of place. Fodraks is bright and clean with friendly people and a nice little dining area. We had the gyro plates with Greek potatoes. The gyros were delicious. The potatoes were good, if a little thick. We will definitely go back and try another of the many items on the menu.
