Five Dime - Logan County

Horrible service Luis. Ordered dine in, he packed it up for take out, when I told him, he acted like I inconvenienced him said 'it 's still warm ' as if I 'm to be happy to eat it out of Tupperware.

Five Dime is one of my go to places in Evanston. I discovered this gem during the pandemic. They have a beautiful open patio with a bar on the roof, with heat lamps, connecting to the inside area, with doors that can be left open or closed. Such a cozy space with really yummy food and generous portions!

Very attentive staff, great sized portions and well made drinks. Good spot during summer, with games and a big rooftop area to hang out with friends. Visit even with the cold weather, it's worth it.

Perhaps not “hidden” but a short walk from the heart of downtown Evanston, this is a lovely spot for an afternoon drink on a well-done rooftop.
