Eastside Café — Coffee Wine

The food was not bad but I think overpriced for the products used. All the bread, croissants, etc are bought from like Walmart. I got the avocado toast and it was alright although a bit salty and way too over cooked. The main reason I am giving this place such a low rating is due to the service. The young guy that was taking care of us was absolutely terrible, dude didn’t write a single thing down and got my coffee order wrong. Had a great experience here. The vibe of the place is delightful. The interior is welcoming and cozy. The owner is incredibly friendly and conversational, kind of embodying the local coffee shop aura, somebody who knows and cares for her clientele. The coffee was delicious. We got Frappuccinos. I definitely want to go back and try something else. The food menu also looks good and would definitely consider ordering in the future. We just had plans for food already at the time of our visit. Stopped here after looking at the good reviews and was highly disappointed. Iced latte tasted like it was all milk. They only had large cups and must not have added the extra shots to accommodate the larger size. They had no idea what the gluten free bakery items were when asked. Girl getting my bakery order ready touched one of them with her bare hands when putting it in the bag. Gross. Never again.

Great morning cafe, coffee was fresh and toast was excellent. Highly recommend the nutter butter toast, was a delicious morning snack.
