Dogs On The Chain - Logan County

I've been in fox lake for years, I heard about the hot dogs at the namely joint from the younger generation. I saw the ad on Facebook with a pic of the game room and invited brother to lunch and gaming. I had such a great hotdog and fries (hand cut) with a cool beverage. the peeps are sooo coo! and the place is so clean. the whole day was made at Dogs on the Chain. i wanna try the Gyros and, the polish. and much more.

Friendly, accommodating staff Food was good, and fairly priced — But no specials or “add fries/drink for $__” Parking lot can be a little tight Be sure to check the hours before heading-out (kitchen closed at 6PM on a Saturday)

I had to give 2 stars this time. Trying to support small local business..... Ordered tonight and the French fries again were not crispy who doesn't want crispy fries? These were gross, soggy. The last time they were like that too.... Makes me not want to go back if you can't make French fries crispy. Hot dog was good French fries you need to step that up soggy fries are not good! You're putting them in the bag, you know you see it. Shows you don't care.

The owner was a super cool dude and very friendly, the food was amazing and made fresh. The tzatziki sauce for the thin sliced gyro is the best I have ever had in my 32 years of life. The mozzarella sticks were perfect and so was the fresh marinara sauce they come with. The fries are fresh cut and cooked to perfection. And prices are cheap. I will definitely be coming back again. I would give a 10 star rating if I could. I definitely recommend this place to everyone. Quality and quantity in one … – show

Definitely a place everyone should go. Best Dogs around. I made this a weekly stop. The owners are super cool as well. Keep doing what you’re doing.
