Cafe Di Luna - Logan City

Nothing special about the fish and chips but the BLT sandwich was bless. Both meals took about 15mins to come out and customer service was average.

There is always stomach room for sweets, regardless how full I am from my mains. After a satisfying sushi catch up at Sushi Edo,  my friends and I decided to head into Cafe Di Luna next door for a cuppa and a slice of cake ???? We ordered the Carrot Cake and Chunky Choc Cheesecake to share. For coffees, we went with a (L) Latte, (L) Cappuccino and two Lattes. The 2 slices arrived at the table, both accompanied with whipped cream. Coffees came shortly and were all served hot. I had the Latte, in which I thought was okay. If only the brew was stronger, it would have been tastier ???????? I can't remember the last time I had Carrot Cake, but either way, finally got a taste of it yesterday and it was pretty good!! Really appreciated the texture and the fact it wasn't really heavy (considering I had a overly satisfying and filling lunch) was honestly just what I needed. As per the Chunky Choc Cheesecake, unfortunately, it didn't really make it on to my 'fancy' list. I found it too sweet for my palate and the texture of cheese was overpowering.  But all in all, staff are friendly here!! Would definitely come back for the Carrot Cake!! Thank you Cafe Di Luna!

After a satisfying meal at Narati, Paul and I went searching for dessert. We walked past The Coffee Club and thinking about their coffee, I decided to keep on walking! Cafe Di Luna looked cosy and had a few customers sipping on coffee so we walked in to admire their sweet offerings in the cold cabinets. The Manageress greeted us with a sweet smile and informed us of the $7.95 coffee & cake special. Haha! I guess we were obliged to stay for coffee and cake! We ordered the chunky chocolate cheesecake, tiramisu and 2 double shot lattes. Our cakes arrived within minutes and we shared them. The Tiramisu was good but the Chunky Chocolate Cheesecake was fabulous, easily the best cake of 2017 for me. By the time our double shot lattes arrived our cakes were safely in our tums! The coffee was good not great. I would suggest the cafe change their coffee bean to a more flavourful bean. That said, I still enjoyed the coffee. Next visit I may have a cup of tea with my Chunky Chocolate Cheesecake.
