Although it may sound harsh, I feel the management needs to hear this review. I have never left a review before, but I cannot ignore the poor service I experienced at this restaurant. It took 30 minutes and three requests to finally receive a glass of water, despite there being multiple servers and support staff for only 6 tables. I was so disappointed that I decided not to order a main course and left without leaving a tip, which I have never done before. The staff is not at fault, as they clearly lack proper training. It is important for them to understand that providing faster service will increase sales and tips. Despite being accustomed to slower service in the Philippines, this was unacceptable. The staff needs to focus on completing tasks one at a time instead of trying to do everything at once and inevitably forgetting someone. The restaurant prides itself on being a high-end establishment with a diverse menu, so they need to meet the expectations they set. It is basic common sense to provide customers with a drink in a timely manner, especially on a hot day. The lack of service and inefficiency left me feeling disappointed and I will not be returning. It is a shame that the restaurant failed to meet even my minimal expectations.
I visited the resort every day for breakfast. The food was average and there was a lot of fried options. The egg station was very greasy. The lunch packages were okay for 250 pesos with plenty of choices on the menu for dinner. It was decent, but I wasn't impressed. Unfortunately, there were no tables on the beach like other resorts. The staff were very friendly though.
This is an evaluation only via the restaurant: menu: much to choose from asia and western oriented. for some who could be great. in my case I think and guess that a bubble of all trades is nothing. personally I may be. picky, but on the island malapasqua are other restaurants that my taste buds are satisfied with a much smaller selection. service: we were always greeted with a smile and treated warm. some of the waiters seem to have their heads on the sky and rather chat with their colleagues or friends, instead of looking for their guests. some of our ordered items were forgotten, at some point they thought that certain items are not available, but they are not. Also, at a time they brought the food about 30 minutes after ordering and then informed that something was not available. if they ask for brot to their suppe, they will be calculated. we have usually got our food within 30 minutes, but we have witnessed that single gusted has waited for > 1h. we hope that the restaurant management will carry out measurements as it is in my opinion in a beautiful environment to enjoy meals. Note: water is not included as in other restaurants.
Although the food was really great, the service was a bit erratic. Sometimes main courses would be served before the starters! But hey it was delicious
