La Grotta Wine - Lodi

I wish this place was closer to Madison! Stumbled upon this gem while meeting some friends in Lodi for dinner on a Friday night. As soon as we sat down, the owner (Kathy) was there and asked us what kind of wine we liked. I told her cabs; the hubs, whites. Within a few minutes she was back with an arm full of wines and began pouring us tastings and did not stop until each of us found something. Not just something we liked, something we LOVED. I've never been to any wine establishment that took such time and lengths to ensure you had the greatest experience. If you're anywhere near the Lodi area, go visit Kathy and Mark. They are fantastic people who run a business they very clearly love.

What a great place! Love the cozy sitting areas. You get to taste a few wines before you get a very generous pour. Wine was just $10 a glass. I could hang out here all night. If it's nice out they also have an outside area overlooking the river.

Beautiful wine bar. Only bar in the Lodi area that I actually enjoy going to. Good vibes. No riff raff. Owner Kathy is so nice and friendly. And they have a Stella kegerator! Need i say more?

I had my bridal shower at la grotta and not only was the space SO cute but the staff was incredible. I wish I could give more than five stars this place is amazing! Atmosphere: 5
