Karmic Grind - LOCUST VALLEY

The coffee is good, but I will not be returning to this restaurant. I have tried multiple times and each time I have encountered rude and condescending staff. I would recommend skipping this place as it is also extremely overpriced.

I grew up in LV but I moved to the west village after college- Devocion was my hang out spot so I was eager to try Karmic Grind when I heard they had Devocion beans; but when Covid happened I went to live in my family's home in Amalfi- so I haven't been back in town since. However, last week was my first stop back in town. When I walked into Karmic it was extremely cluttered and felt a tad dirty. There was no one in front of me so I walked right up to order and the 2 employees completely ignored me and I waited 4 minutes to even order. Once I finally ordered my whole milk flat white (I had to wait 10 minutes meanwhile I was the only one there), I browsed their retail. They offer kids toys, bottled cocktails, eyewear and candles.. I was confused. I wanted to sit and drink my coffee there but between the unfriendly staff, the claustrophobic atmosphere.. it was a No for me. As I Left, I tasted my coffee and it was undrinkable. I won't bother returning- you can find me at my Devocion in the West Village!

They use coffee from Devocion, one of my favorite local coffee places, and it was delicious! Small but very cute coffee shop by the train station ?

Lovely cafe. Very spacious for studying, dates, hang outs and meet ups!Beautiful cafe with a great view of the train.The signature matcha latte was incredible and the sea salt caramel latte. We had a few other drinks and snacks but I don’t recall. Everything was surly good and we went back to get more food.Great service with kind servers! Looking forward to coming back soon!!

The service was very welcoming. The coffee and donuts from Donut Plant NYC were top-notch. Though a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it to help out a local business.
