Public Landing - Lockport

The ambiance was excellent, and the food was delicious with a great selection. The staff was very attentive, and it was quiet enough to enjoy a conversation.

Public Landing has been my favorite restaurant for many years, and it hasn't changed. Our server was fantastic, the drinks were spot-on, and the appetizer was delicious. However, the steaks we ordered fell short of expectations. We had a charred NY Strip steak that was full of gristle and extremely tough to cut through, even with a steak knife! After we managed to get past the tough exterior, the meat itself was decent, but I expected much better and was left disappointed, especially given that we each paid $40 for the steak. On a brighter note, dessert was delightful. We shared the caramel-glazed bread pudding, which was a standout. I still plan to dine at Public Landing, but I think it's important for them to be aware of the quality issues with the steak we received.

The food was fabulous and our server Pam was fantastic! We will definitely go back.

The food was prepared perfectly but the food was served cold the bread was presented at the end of the meal the dessert menu had to be asked for being that the menu was limited we were expecting a hot meal. We felt rushed and didn't really receive the whole dining out experience for the price. The wait staff that kept the water glasses full were spot on very courtesy and nice great job. Perhaps we will give the Public Landing another try in the future. Thank You
