Just go in thru the double blue doors and seat yourself. Menus are on the table. And as you decide on your meal, go ahead admire all the license plates, pictures and different items on the walls and even ceilings. Order some comfort food, a drink and just relax. We found the place to be a small treasure. It was a fun little spot to sit back, talk to our server a bit and enjoy ourselves. Food was well made and fresh. Atmosphere is very relaxed. Remember to go across the street to their little treasure of a gift shop.
Hubby and I stopped by for lunch after checking out the cute little shops on the opposite end of the bridge. We were greeted by a smiling server and told to sit any where we wanted. After picking a great table over looking the water inside. Katelyn our server, was right there asking for our drink order. Minutes later we ordered and shortly later it was delivered. My fried oysters and homemade chips with coleslaw basket was delicious and fresh. 18.99 Hubbies steak roll was packed with meat and veggies. So much he couldn't eat it all. 12.99. Beer prices very reasonable at 3.50 a bottle. All and all we enjoyed ourselves and after lunch visited the gift shop across the street which Bert's also owns.
Definitely a place to visit..local dive that 's a must see...great fresh TASTY food! Ashley was the best server...twice! Being on the water...ahhhh...beautiful!
A little unassuming gray building on the side of the road. Inside is a long, narrow bar and restaurant with a fun atmosphere. Live music most every night, and several docks to pull your boat in to. Everything we ordered, the cheeseburger, reuben, onion rings, and the grouper tacos were delicious. So good I ate half my sandwich before I remembered to take a picture. Great service, good prices, yummy food. Even got to meet the owner on the way out and he helped us get out onto the road. Thanks Bert!
