Ikea - Loanhead

I tried to order their vegan hot dog last October (2019), but was told that the buns are not vegan. So, we could only have the hot dog by itself. Instead, we went to the restaurant and looked at their extensive menu on the info iPad, which had many vegan options that sounded great. However, the staff had not heard of half of them and only had soup as an option that day. I was really disappointed, especially since they had massive billboards in their car park advertising their sustainability efforts. I don't understand the point of developing a vegan hot dog if they don't have vegan buns. This review was updated on September 21, 2020.

Ikea deserves praise for offering a wide variety of vegan options at affordable prices. The vegan hot dog is even cheaper than the regular version!

Good for when you're knackered after wandering IKEA aimlessly. We usually have the chips, veggie dogs and strawberry ice cream and it's always nice.

Got the sweet potato tart it’s soooo good. Would recommend. However I have seen this tart in the Edinburgh IKEA and not in the Croydon one, so it may not be available everywhere. 8 Vegan mains listed on their website! Online their menu can be filtered for vegan options.
