cheers restaurant and lounge

I used to think this restaurant was much better when I visited three years ago, but now the food isn't as good. However, the prices are still pretty cheap.

This restaurant offers the best lunch in town. The steak sandwich is fantastic and great value, paired with a delicious Greek salad. The servers are excellent and the fresh veggies in the summer are a highlight.

Good food, not great, but a little expensive. The prime rib special night the portions are huge but the meat has a lot of gristle and fat. Pizza, stuffed mushrooms and other dishes are better.

Food was okay, but the service was poor. It was like she did not even want to be working and made little effort to come see how things were. When I did tell her part of my food was not good at all, she was eagerly just wanting to move on and not really listen. We were in the lounge side for the first time and very dungy, grimy place. Service in there was no better, when I rest my hand on the counter all I could feel was the thickness of stickiness from either drink or bad cleaning supplies as I could engrave my name in it. It was actually quite disgusting, the owner really needs to put money into this place as when you look around while waiting, you see vents are never cleaned and lights are hanging out of roof. Just wont go back, I felt scummy even being in there. A dive hole.

Went to the bar side. Cute place. They were short staffed, bartender was run off his butt... and had to close early but we still had fun in the time we had. Good drinks. Decent food. Could go for some upgrading/renos but I guess that's also what make it cute. Old school. Cheers.
