It came out with none (picture is after having scraped away the toppings to reveal a bare base). The manager came and offered to bring me some pizza sauce, which I found absurd. What was I supposed to do, drizzle cold sauce on top? No thanks. I frustratingly asked for a new pizza to be made. They made me another one and it was good although it took a while. On my last visit here a couple of weeks ago they screwed up the pizza by not adding any tomatoes. I had asked for cooked diced tomatoes on top. They brought out a plate of cold diced tomatoes. I asked for them to be cooked. They microwaved them and brought them to me like warm. I was fed up with complaining so just sucked it up and put them on my pizza. On today's visit, I only got one refill on my pop (Jorja K was not very attentive)... that's after a long wait to even get my first glass. I was there for almost an hour in total (so much for a quick bite to eat), and they (inc. the manager) offered no discount or any compensation off the pizza. Came to $25.04 for a pop and a small pizza which they screwed up. Not impressed. I would not have bothered to come here and write a negative review if they had offered to make things right with a discount. They were not even very busy (8pm at the time of my visit). A couple other tables from what I could tell, and Jorja was not the only server on duty. I don't understand why the service was so lacklustre. When I eat at The Proper (other end of town), no matter what time it is or how busy it is the service is always exemplary. Boston Pizza is lagging behind by quite a stretch. I have always been a regular customer in the past (check out all my other BP reviews) but after this experience it will be a while before I go back! I was going to get a couple of desserts (one to eat there and one to bring home) but went elsewhere instead.
I avoid BP’s normally because I find them quite overpriced for what they offer. They have the most expensive beer and food in the chain pub style restaurants that I frequent. I had a chicken Caesar and a side of Memphis wings. Both were pretty good. The server was friendly and fast. More food and less sticker shock would be my advice to corporate. I used to eat at BP’s multiple times a week, now it’s a few times per year.
Great service! I was by myself and do love eating here. Love what's on the menu. I must bring hubby and try the christmas turkey pizza. Thanks Boston Pizza
After a long day I stopped here for some Honey Garlic ribs and a beer. Food was great and so as the service. I will stop there again.
Thanks BP, for yet another exceptional service. I dined on my own and had a wonderful experience, served by Morgan F. Boston Pizza really does feel like family to me. The staff are always so friendly and I always get a warm welcome. The food came out quick and was, as ever, delicious. The wings are still my favourite wings in town, despite a few new places popping up over the last couple of years that offer them. I love their pizza, and today I had a slice of cheesecake as dessert which always satisfies. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Kudos to the chefs! Thanks again. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
