Y Ffarmers - Llanfihangel-y-Creuddyn

Amazing restaurant, a bit hidden, but definitely worth visiting when they are in the opposite. we had a fantastic evening here and the food was great! the steak was perfectly cooked (1st time on the whole trip to wales). teriyaki chicken starter was also great. parking is easy in front of the restaurant. in any case to visit again when I am in the opposite again.

To be fair.. we chose to eat outside ... which we had done before... but this time it was a BIG mistake. Soooo many yappy dogs.. urinating on the grass and setting each other off uncontrollably. We sat in a space that enabled you to sit in.. but not get out without everyone moving. Food was OK... but only specials on the starters which were very quickly told to us by the staff member attending to our table... inattentively as there was so much going on. Past times we have been THRILLED by the surroundings and the food we come out of our way to eat here... but this time left us feeling dissatisfied in all areas and doubting we will return. As I said.. we maybe should have eaten inside... combine that with no gluten free options left us a bit meh... but I see others having lovely experiences. Maybe an off day?

Lovely food, if a little expensive. Some of the staff weren't particularly attentive. Gorgeous interior and ambience.
