Ember Woodfire Grill - Livonia

Our waitress was friendly and welcoming, offering us some helpful tips about the menu—for example, many dishes are large enough to share, and items are served as they’re prepared rather than all at once. A nice touch was the water carafe provided at our table for easy refills, especially since the cups are a bit small. The service was excellent! We loved the bread and what I believe was a red onion-topped focaccia. Our drinks arrived quickly from the bar, and our food followed shortly after. We shared a house salad, pizza, and wings, all of which were fresh and served hot. Everything was crispy and delicious! I would happily return again!

It was our first visit, and we had a great experience. The drinks were excellent, with a nice variety of beers to choose from. The food was also very tasty, and we definitely plan to return.

This place is outstanding all around! We visited on a Saturday and enjoyed sitting outside with live guitar music in the background. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing if you’d like. We tried a few different salads, including the Calamari Salad, which was quite tasty and could easily serve four. One of the highlights of our meal was the mushroom ravioli, which was served with braised beef ribs—absolutely delicious!

Really tasty and diverse seasonal menus make this place a favorite of mine. This place is set up in a way where family style dining is ideal, but not necessary. They don 't try to being everything out at once. Things get thrown in the wood-fired over,grill, or fryer as there is time and delivered when done. So we kinda just treat it like a tapas place, but with biggerportions. I recommend the seared ahi tuna nachos . They 've always been on the menu when I have visited. Their pizzas are aboveaverage as well. Plus, they usually have some sort of wild-game protein worked into a couple dishes, whether in the form of asausage or burger or pasta dish. It 's a little pricey, but it is worth it. Can be a loud meal with friends, or a more intimateromantic meal if you 'd like it to be. Only thing I would say is a negative is that it is like 40 minutes from my house.

Last night we took friends to Ember. The experience was extraordinary. We shared plates and tried a variety of the menu. The service was sublime. Timing of the offerings were served flawlessly. Presentation of the food was elegant withperfection. It’s an experience we will share and always remember. Its definitely beyond a five star. It Royalty quality andservice!
