Detroit Wing Company - Livonia

I use to love this place and the prices were decent compared to other places but as I was about to order online recently I noticed that the menu changed and the boneless wing prices are the same as regular wings and that makes absolutely no sense at all. I also noticed that with the 8 piece you only choose 1 sauce instead of 2 so now if I want 2 sauce choices I have to get 12 pieces. I'm all for change if it's good but these changes aren't it.

Good food, disappointing service. Called in a carry out order, told happy hour was on-going, upon arrival was told happy hour ended already despite asking for hours over the phone. Was told to buy food at normal price or have it thrown away. Poor communication from an otherwise great place.

Sauces were great. Tried the creole parm, garlic parm, Asian orange, spicy Italian (dry rub). Asked for extra crispy/well done, but they weren?t. My order was prepared the same as the order that was cooked standard. Like my wings a certain way and unfortunately couldn?t get them the way I requested here.

BEST FOOD EVER! GrubHub messed up my large catering order and Detroit Wing Co. came to my rescue. The food was outstanding service was exceptional. So much better than any other wing spot! HANDS DOWN my new 'go to

Eh.. wings, didn't really experience any thing that stood out about these wings. The sauce seems a bit runny and so it doesn't seem to stick to the wings, so your kinda eating flavorless wings. Celery was brown. I may go back but I think wingstop might be a better choice.
