This was a great restaurant find for a quick and delicious dinner. Although there was only one waitress, she was able to get to all customers and the food came quickly. A delicious meal of generous proportions. The naan bread was so light and fresh, it alone is worth returning for. Only downside was the decor and lack of ambience' but was clean and simple.
Really pathetic customer service. Definitely won't be visiting this place again. We purchased a voucher of living social for Himalaya Liverpool....the night started off o.k. (22.11.2014). They were busy so customer service wasn't excellent but o.k...however, in the middle of our mains, we had a waitress come up to our table and say "...if you're not having dessert, we need you to finish up in 5 to 10 minutes...." Mind you, we had only been in the restaurant for an hr at the time. My father made a comment about us having paid for the food, so we should be given the opportunity to finish our mains. The waitress then, said..."well, you're not paying for it..." Mind you, we had bought a voucher which obviously, we had paid for (prior to even getting our food)!! I told her that I had paid for the voucher so I wasn't eating there for free so we were going to finish our mains and not rushing thru it. Anyway, 20 minutes later as we were leaving the restaurant, I just went up to the waitress and asked to speak to the manager, she told me that he wasn't there and then she said "....how many times do I have to say sorry...." Even at the least if she had acknowledged that she made a mistake, I would have been annoyed but content but the attitude that we got from her has made me write this review. We definitely won't be visiting this place again...nor will we be recommending any friends or families to visit this restaurant.
The restaurant may be new, but the taste of their food is from decades down the line right to as authentic as it gets. This is out full time stop as it's got us addicted and hooked on from the very first date. We have been to this place multiple times, and yet the standard of food/staff/service remains as high and consistent as ever, only climbing higher and never disappointing. Even the very simple dish as Daal/Butter chicken just multiplies to ten times more savoury when cooked by their chef.Chef or magician? Still to discover. This restaurant can serve people to a lower budget to as high for business meetings etc at a very reasonable price.
Ordered two dishes, 2x butter chicken. 2 x cheese nan and 2x plain rice. Cost me $50. The food was great, and the butter chicken is very nice, however I believe that it is a little over priced. Especially for the portions that they serve. I usually buy 2xpadthai, 1 green curry and a chicken cashew and two plain rice at Thai delight and that costs me the same and the portions are bigger. Overall the food was great, but the portioning needs work.
