Brooklyn Pickle North - Liverpool

Just awful. Surly woman with crossed arms by the register doing nothing but glaring at the busy kids haplessly trying to make sandwiches. The set up is utterly ridiculous. Wait on line forever. Be sure to grab your desserts and drinks or you have to go back and wind through the line to get them. Don't forget to grab the right chips as you pass by or you'll have to, again, wind through the line to go back and get them. The kids making your sandwich ask you what you want, then walk to the other counter to make it. By the time they get there they forget what you ordered and have to walk all the way back to ask you again. All this while the surly lady who handles the money does nothing. Then once the kid makes your sandwich he/she has to carry it over to the counter where you are standing (as half of it falls on the floor) so it can be wrapped up. Then the kid has to scream over to the surly lady what you bought. Who knows what she is entering into the register as she just comes over and demands an amount of money. While she's doing this the kid can't take any more orders. She has to go back to the register with your credit card... While the kid and you stand and wait. Then she comes back with your card with no receipt. What the heck did I just pay for? Oh my, I was ready to poke my own eye out! This place would NEVER make it in Brooklyn! Oh, and did I mention that NONE of the sandwiches on their menu had descriptions? No one could tell me what an Italian sub was. A perfect example of how NOT to run any business.

The Brooklyn pickle sandwich on gluten-free bread is the best. The fusion chips are really good too. You actually get meat on your sandwich and not just bread

My husband and I bought the Brooklyn Special and we absolutely loved it. We also bought the Italian sandwich but not eaten yet but will be eaten soon. Staff was absolutely great helping us as first visiting.

I love Brooklyn Pickle. It has been a staple in CNY for decades. When it opened up in N. Syracuse near my work I was excited. Unfortunately, the last two times I have visited, they gave me the wrong sandwich or completely messed up the order (egg salad was ham salad? . Prices are a little on the steep side, but everything is costing higher these days. I'll give it one more chance, because they do make a quality sandwich and I usually enjoy my meals from there. M. Have never had a bad meal from Brooklyn Pickle! The bread is always fresh, with lots of meat in the sandwiches, and of course, the pickles! Soups are also great with my wife preferring Neptune Stew. But they have a wide variety that changes daily. There's also a good variety of sides including baked beans, macaroni salad, and side salads. Oh yeah, good variety of drinks.
