When I checked rough hand made, I discovered the cinnamon walnut ****. the next day I heat it gently in the microwave and it was soft and delicious! the best part is, it is not excessively sweet and I can actually taste the walnuts and cinnamon inside! Most often end up the most baked with too much teig and they can not taste much other ingredients inside. I expected only some walnuts, but was pleasantly surprised to find the inner layer also lined with walnuts! it was delicious and sweet enough very recommended! every penny worth! in any case I look forward to going back to check the other baked!
I ate literally the largest croissant I have ever eaten anywhere in this place. It was recommended in a blog to give it a try on the way to the dock where the museums are located. It was indeed handmade right infront. The filling could have been a bit more but the crispiness and taste was amazing. Red Velvet chocolate was disappointing.
Just wonderful! Whenever in Liverpool, we drop by for at least 2 times: first for a delicious breakfast, second just before we live, to fill one backpack with everything we can. So that, at least for the next few days, we can still savour those magnificent pastries.
On Sunday, I visited a delightful little place for a quick bite and tried a mini pizza, a sweet almond bowl, and a cream cheese-filled pastry. The pizza was beautifully made with a fresh, soft crust. The almond bowl had a fantastic texture with a hint of brown sugar, although it was a bit dry and didn’t have much almond paste baked in. It paired wonderfully with coffee. The beech and blue beet pastry was warm, juicy, and arguably the best sweet treat I've ever had. The place had a small wait, but food comes out in batches of about 10 items and was served almost immediately. I heard their hot velvet chocolate is definitely worth a try, so I’ll be coming back for sure!
Make sure to bring your friends to this fantastic spot while you're at the docks for their freshly baked goods! They bake daily, and you can really taste the difference. I had the milk chocolate croissant, which was soft and tender yet bursting with flavor – plus, it was enormous alongside a decaf cappuccino. You can choose to sit outside on their benches with a lovely view of the water, or enjoy a cozy table inside. Everyone there was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be working.
