Pound Bakery Broadway - Liverpool

Complete and utterly miserable girl served me in Broadway Norris green Liverpool . Her colleague even said , Arrh she's not well !!!???? . Short changed me as well and made me feel it was my fault when I noticed ! Sorry we all have bad days, work in a shop myself, Definitely needs some people skills training.

Went in the pound cafe today (Tuesday 10th September 2019) only ordered a bowl of chips and a latte, got my latte right away but had to wait 45 minutes for the bowl of chips so went up to the counter to tell them I couldn’t wait any longer as i was on my break so had to cancel the bowl of chips.. I was so annoyed as i was working a 12 hour shift (8am to 8pm) in the clinic down the road and this was my only break so as i couldn’t wait any longer I ended up going back to work and had no dinner which was really frustrating as i was so hungry and didn’t have time to go anywhere else.. When i went to the counter and explained my situation to the girl at the till the girl behind her who had served me and took my money had basically forgot i had ordered instead of her admitting her mistake she tried to whisper to the other girl that i was lying and hadn’t waited 45 minutes to which I said to her that i had and she had forgot about me.. It ended up that they just gave me my money back which is really no good for me as I went back to work with no dinner, not one of the staff apologised to me for the inconvenience to be fair they were really rude, I definitely will not be going in there again and as for your staff I think they need to go on a customer service course and refresh there customer skills, not one of your staff had any manners or customer service skills. What happened to the customer always being right because in this shop customers have no say the staff just whisper about you which is very rude and inconsiderate when your standing there never felt so angry in all my life being accused of lying by your staff, how dare they be aloud to treat a customer this way.

Great cheap n cheerful food when your on the go. 2 pasties for a pound. Can’t grumble with that. Nice food as well. Much better value than others who charge £1:25 each for a slice.

I can't even begin to explain how necessary this shop is! It seems so simple cheap, and may look like the food is awful, but that's what stuns me every time! The sausage rolls in that shop are ridiculously tasty! I don't know how they do it, but I love, love, LOVE the quality and how cheap the food is!! If you're in a hurry you're desperate for a snack (or even a meal! , trust me on this one, the Pound Bakery is seriously the best place to nip into!! I'm so glad it exists, I have to admit.

Happened to be passing this place after missing breakfast, I didn't want a lunch as going to a friend's for tea. I went in pies, pasties and sausage rolls not burnt all nice and golden, I decided on a steak slice, pastry was nice and flaky and well filled not like some places where you get little filling. Staff were polite and friendly.
