During our last two visits, we experienced a long wait time of 45 minutes for our sandwiches, despite the restaurant not being very busy. Additionally, we noticed that the hand soap in the restroom seemed to be watered down, which was disappointing. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired, as we found our table to be sticky and dirty. What ultimately turned us off was the presence of an overly loud woman discussing bin contracts with a representative from a bin company. Her repeated use of the phrase "duty of care" became unbearable. If such meetings are necessary, they should be conducted in a more private setting, away from the dining customers seeking to enjoy the restaurant's food and ambiance. I hate to leave this negative review, as I understand the challenges of running a restaurant. However, I urge the owners to take note of the feedback provided by other customers and address these issues promptly to prevent further loyal patrons like ourselves from choosing to dine elsewhere. I visited this restaurant for the first time today after previously only stopping in for a drink. It is a unique little spot, and while I usually don't appreciate the mismatched dishes and cute teapots, they added to the overall charm of the place. We ordered two vegan BLTs for £5 each. After a 20-minute wait, our sandwiches arrived and were surprisingly small, resembling the end of a French loaf. While I understand that vegan food can take time to prepare and some ingredients may be harder to find, I am willing to pay extra for the effort involved. However, the "bacon" in the BLT turned out to be crispy mushrooms cooked with specific seasonings to mimic bacon flavor. Although they tasted good, I have made similar dishes at home and know that they were not worth the £5 price tag. Essentially, I was eating a mushroom, tomato, and lettuce sandwich (albeit a small one) for five pounds. I would have expected a larger sandwich, a side salad, or some chips to accompany it. Additionally, the staff, as noted by other reviewers on TripAdvisor, appeared unhappy and hardly managed to crack a smile. Considering the competition on Lark Lane, I was disappointed with my experience and do not plan on returning to this establishment.

This was our first visit to the restaurant. The positive aspect was that the buffalo cauliflower wings were delicious. However, there were several negative aspects: the service could have been better, there was no welcome or smile from the staff, and our table was dirty, which we ended up cleaning ourselves after the first attempt failed. We had to wait 30 minutes for our food and were disappointed to find that there were no seitan strips available. Additionally, the coffee was served cold and the Butternut Squash and chili soup was bland, lukewarm, and did not taste fresh (likely canned). When we asked for water, we were served water with soap bubbles in the jug. At this point, we decided it was time to call it a day. It's such a shame, but we will not be returning to this restaurant as our experience was very disappointing.

Mum had one of those 'group on ' voucher things for here in May and so we FINALLY got round to using today! Food was amazing especially as I changed my decision about four times as everything sounded so nice I wanted to try it all! We had great service and we didn 't mind waiting for our food as the guy running it had 'drafted in ' his girlfriend 's mother to help him as she wasn 't well her mum not 100% knowing 'set up ' so was slower than normal girl, not a criticism honest!! Food was fresh and had a variety of selection, also good : the music with video 's playing was also a nice touch : Will deffinatley stop by again next time I 'm in the area, thanks for a nice time :

Return visit to this fab place, not just for the fab food and drinks but for the overall experience at Greendays. If my hubby and I lived closer to this fab little gem we would go every day ,and the reasons are 1,the food is just great, you get huge portions of gorgeous food.2, the fresh orange juice is to die for.3, the price, it is so so cheap for what you get in both quality and quantity. 4, the vibe is just so great, we feel like friends when we go to there, we are made very welcome not just by the owners and staff but even the other customers include us in on conversations. We cant fault a single thing and doubt we ever will. We thank you Greendays for doing what you do, please do not ever change anything. Cannot wait to return to try your vegan pancakes.
