Down The Hatch - Liverpool

Great option for vegetarians! I typically find vegetarian food boring, but this restaurant's dishes were delicious and even appealed to non-vegetarians like myself.

I visited a vegetarian restaurant and found the atmosphere to be really welcoming. The staff were polite, but not as responsive as I would have preferred, and the food took a while to come out and was not very hot when it arrived. Despite these setbacks, I feel like there is potential for improvement and I am willing to give them another chance in the future. I believe there is a great experience waiting to be had at this restaurant.

The restaurant was a bit dirty and uninviting. I had high hopes for innovative Vegan dishes, but unfortunately, the food was average. It wasn't awful, just didn't live up to the hype.

It 's always a double edge sword when I go to a fully vegetarian restaurant as I have more than three or four choices. Everyone person who we encountered in Down the Hatch had a smile and a quick word for us. The food was great. We split appetizers: an order of grilled halloumi and one of the battered mushrooms. Both were gone in minutes. We also split 'burgers, with my mum getting the falafel and me something I can 't remember. A bean burger with sourcraut

Excellent evening and excellent venue and staff. The food is top quality with its highly creative vegan options. Would definitely come back.
