My partner and I were out in town in July 2019 and decided to stop by for a coffee and a jacket potato. We often visit one in Manchester when we are there, but our local one was a bit disappointing. It was quite busy, but I managed to find a table while my partner waited in line to order and pay. The table I found was tucked around a corner, almost like a hallway leading to some double doors. There was an alarm going off from the doors that was very loud and made me feel sick. No one came to turn it off, so I moved to a table in the main area. My partner eventually joined me and mentioned how ridiculous it was that the staff disappeared while he was waiting to be served, and there wasn't enough cutlery. I asked for more cutlery, but it took a while to arrive, causing our food to get cold. It was clear that they needed more staff to clean and clear tables. The food was okay, but it could have been better.

I had a wonderful afternoon tea experience today with my friend. The cakes and sandwiches were delicious and there was plenty to go around. Our server, Wally, was incredibly accommodating, fulfilling our requests such as no butter on the sandwiches and providing us with as much tea as we wanted at no additional cost. It was a lovely afternoon and I would definitely recommend trying their afternoon tea.

I visited this restaurant in December 2019 for a friend's birthday breakfast and catch up. I usually take pictures of my food, but I was disappointed with the quality of the food this time. I ordered the full breakfast and had to wait 15 minutes for it to arrive. When it did, I was not impressed. Despite getting a deal through Groupon, it still cost around 7.50 per person. I could have made a better and cheaper breakfast at home. The sausage was small and overcooked, there was only brown bread for toast with no other options, and the bacon was inedible, like cardboard. I will not be returning, even if it was offered for free. The service was poor, with dirty tables and no staff cleaning up. As someone who works in catering, if this was my workplace, I would have left by now.

Me and my husband had an afternoon tea there and it was lovely, the young man who I believe is the manager was lovely and made one of the best coffee I have ever tasted. Will definitely come back again

The waitress if you can call her that was walking around as if she did not know were she was. She walked around with our food for about two minutes, tried to attract her attion but got ignored. I followed her back to were she took our food, complained and was given refund for food after it was snatched out of hand. I tried to complain to Another member of staff who turned out to be Assistant Manager and he just laughed at me when I asked for his name he refused to give it to me and got really aggressive.
