Today I was in Liverpool with my children, visiting from the south, and looking for a good halal restaurant. Unfortunately, many of the places we wanted to try were closed for lunch on a Saturday, which I found strange. Chunkies was not my first choice, but since it was open and nearby, we decided to give it a try. Initially, we were surprised by the prices, as they were higher than what we are used to in Birmingham. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The chicken was not the small, young chicken typically served; it was from a fully grown adult chicken. The portions were generous, and the cheeseburgers were well-made and substantial. The prices were justified by the quality and quantity of the food. The owner even treated us to a complimentary garlic bread, which was delicious - soft and full of flavor. If I find myself in Liverpool again, I will definitely return to Chunkies.

The half pound cheeseburger and chips were excellent. The milkshake was also good, but the burger really stood out. The waiter was very enthusiastic about selling halal meats and even showed me the packet of turkey ham. May Allah bless you with more prosperity! I will definitely be coming back, God willing. I received the recommendation at the mosque after the morning prayer, as I am not local and wanted to know where the worshippers eat.
