We sat and waited for fifteen minutes without being noticed. Therefore we left. After reading the other reviews we are glad we left.

We visited the tavern and unfortunately our impressions were not the best. Initially the waitress/owner did not inform us about the dishes that the store did not have from the beginning in order to waste more time until we decided and in the end she only had 30% of the list. The prices are expensive, especially for a place like Astipalaia where you can find affordable options without losing quality. The fact that black hair was found on the fries was another point to spoil our experience even more. But worst of all was the atmosphere. The owner was particularly rude to her relatives and more specifically to her daughter and the voices made us feel very uncomfortable while we were there. In conclusion, it is better to go up and eat in the country than to go to this shop.

Amazing in all of it! We were welcomed by Mrs. Roula, very welcoming and smiling and she cooked us the best goat. Every bite really melts in your mouth, generous portions and of course in front of the sea with a dish overlooking the land of Astypalaia! It is highly recommended, and when we are back on the island, we will of course prefer it. Thank you!!! Food: 5

While the location is nice the food is quite average, low quality with very high prices.. family business but no service attitude. The girl was forcefully bringing the plates to our table.. of course no receipt was cut and we didn't even see any catalog-menu from the beginning, they just told us what it has..
