Mexican food in Arkansas, for me, has been hit-or-miss. Actually being of Mexican descent puts me in a rather large pickle as my expectations are high for quality and authenticity. That being said, I was ticking marks from the moment I opened the door. Box 1- clean and cozy with iron sculptures of mariachi musicians. Box 2- seated promptly Red flag 1- no horchata Red flag 2- salsa was watery and lacking in flavor and heat Box 3- fish tacos were done by searing instead of deep frying,(much better in my opinion). Box 4- rice was excellent and seasoned well Box 5- seafood nachos had a lot of seafood I definitely had more good things than bad and I would have you know, I shall return. Since moving from South Texas missed good Mexican food and this place is good!!! Love the food. We have never been disappointed yet! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is good. Service is not so good. Do not sit on left side of restaurant as service is very poor. Will take your order and bring the food and bill and that is all of service. Don't bring refills. If you ask for lemon that was not in your tea when ordered you can forget it. If you ask for extra napkins when meal is delivered you can forget it. You are on your own.
