The chicken was tough and tasted stale. I ordered two half-gallon sweet teas but ended up with one unsweetened tea and two cups of something I couldn't identify. While the food was tasty, I don’t plan on returning.
I feel like I wasted $10. If you're serving cold food, you should at least offer a discount. I only gave two stars because the apple cake was good.
The staff was friendly, but I encountered some major issues. After waiting for my chicken to cook, I didn't receive everything I had paid for, and the chicken breast I did get was the smallest I’ve ever seen. Additionally, my sister was charged twice for her meal. After driving for 14 hours, we were too exhausted to return to the restaurant to resolve the problem, especially since we’d be hitting the road again before they opened. I'm really disappointed!
For some unknown reason, my family decided to give the place another shot the next day. Unfortunately, the situation worsened. They had even fewer options: we had to wait for biscuits, there was no peach cobbler, and the smokehouse items we received were old and dry. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, but I hope corporate can address their stocking issues.
