The Cartford Inn - Little Eccleston

The location is very pleasant, right by the river. The dining experience is enjoyable, and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Maybe a little more than advertised. However, this old coach inn spent a little money for it last year. the laminat floor is a well furnished pub. the menu is okay. the employees are very good and very attentive, there is only a little atmosphere. it is worth once in a past, not every week!

The main dish was a bit, shall we say, eccentric? It could be described as garish. However, the new dining room by the river is quite tastefully decorated and feels brighter thanks to the large picture windows. I must admit I only visited during lunch, but it felt like there was a bit of atmosphere lacking.

I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been coming here for years, and the warm welcome always makes me feel at home. The mushrooms are incredible, and the artisanal bread is fantastic. The steaks and sides are delicious as well. The raw milk and chocolate gelato is simply wonderful. The generous portions, inviting atmosphere, and quirky decor truly make this place a charming experience.

Love the food choice, including Gluten free. Peaceful location, with scenic views. Brilliant idea, enjoying best of both. Enjoy your food, taking in the scenery, whilst sitting in a heated, ornately decorated greenhouse!
