Elliott's Restaurant - Little Current

Update:We stopped in to Elliott's at 5:00 p.m. on Labour Day and had an excellent pickerel dinner with a glass of very nice Chilean wine, all with an outstanding server. An excellent experience.A few days earlier, we stopped by for dinner on a weekday at about 7:15 p.m. and could see the outside seating was about 75% full. Only one table had their food and drinks. Not a good sign. Inside, the restaurant was disorganized mayhem. Only one table had their food and drinks. The main seating area was as empty as a dance floor, with tables and chairs seemingly being set up for the first time (half way though their prime dinner time). We stood in front of the receptionist station for about 5 minutes, waiting to be seated. Nobody from the restaurant spoke to us because they were busy putting out fires, right and left (figuratively). So we left. We miss the operational style of the previous owners of Elliot's.

Great food and even better service. We had dinner and breakfast here (they don’t skimp on sides like sour cream/fries/hollandaise sauce) and both times had the BEST server named Daniel. He’s professional, gives great recommendations, and quality service (the best server we’ve had in a long time). Can’t wait to come back!

Leaving Manitoulin island we had the opportunity to eat at Elliott's for breakfast and it was a great final meal on the island. First off, they serve breakfast until 4pm (might have been 3? Dont 100% remember but later than most restaurants on the island for sure)Food was the best breakfast we have had on the island. The portions were a great size for the value. The food itself was well seasoned, great flavour and texture, and quick to serve.From what i saw of the sandwiches being served, they also seem to be a a good size with large sides along with them, but we didn't have any space in us to try anything else.Will come back when on the island and would recommend.Parking: There are two parking areas, one on the front of the restaurant and one on the side. The side has no Restaurant Sign but you just gotta trust the GPS took you to the right place lol.

Amazing staff, great food, and great management. I have a seafood and shellfish allergy, and the chef came to speak to me personally about my meal options, and even made a substitution for me. I felt safe and well taken care of.Also, they were extremely busy but staff was quick and attentive, despite being swamped by a party of 30+ bikers.Best restaurant in the Manitoulin area by far!

Busy restaurant with an above average competent staff. Food was great, service was top notch! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Our server Dan was non stop, yet greeted, took orders, served orders, bussed tables and cashed out every customer ALL with a smile. Thanks a d we'll done!!!
