The Barn - Little Compton

First visit out to The Barn and it did not disappoint! Coffee was perfect! Food was savory and delicious! Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will surely be back! Highly recommend!

I never write reviews, but this place is horrible. Not only is the food disgusting, but the women who run the place are incredibly rude. We threw our rehearsal dinner there (which wasn’t cheap! and left behind some personal items. When we called that Monday to pick them up, the OWNER, Kate, LIED to us and told us that someone from our wedding party took them home. I told her that wasn’t true and then she got awkward and said she’d call me back. She never called, so I called a few more times trying to track them down, and when they finally realized I wasn't going to stop, I got her to admit that she had my belongings at her house! After hounding her, she agreed to bring them back to the restaurant for me to get them, but not before she tried to tell me that taking them home was totally reasonable because I had left them there. What jerks!! Don’t give these people your business. They don’t deserve it. Oh, and the hash will give you a clogged artery after 3 bites.

Probably the best breakfast I’ve had in Rhode Island thus far. Took a while to get seated and also took a while to get our food but man was it worth it and the prices were excellent too. Their eggs benedicts are cooked perfectly…the hollandaise isn’t watery or too gravyish which is what I always notice when ordering this dish from diners. Will definitely be driving down from Providence again for this.
