Jumbo's Family - Listowel

If I could give 0 stars I would have, made the huge mistake of stopping here with my family on May 1st... when passing through Listowel. Huge mistake. The blonde foreign lady that served us was the most unfriendly person I've ever came across. NO Hi or bye or thank you, so unbelievably rude. They got a busy burst after we had placed our order and they decided to take care of about 20 other people who were in after us getting takeaways and left us sitting there with no food for nearly 20mins. When the rude lady dropped our food down after my husband went up to the counter to see where it was.... she may as well have thrown the tray on the table .. said nothing and walked away !! Once again terrible customer service. Now for the over cooked very greasy on the outside and dry on the inside food....None of us could finish our meals. My husband got onion rings that were literally too hard to bite into. Kids chicken was so over cooked it was so dry neither of them would eat after first bite. I got Taco chips should be called Mayo chips ... that was not taco sauce all I could taste was mayonnaise horrible. So in short if your looking for unfriendly atmosphere and horrible over cooked food and terrible customer services then stop here. Otherwise avoid at all costs !!!!!!!!

Have been going to Jumbos for years and it never dissapoints. Cant fault anything its renowed in Kerry for its snack boxes but everything is good on the menu. The staff are pleasant and the place is always immaculate great place to take the kids as plenty of seating.

No visit to Listowel would be complete unless you stop at Jumbos for a burger and chips! Loved the crazy busy atmosphere.

Jumbos in Listowel offers excellent fast food at resonable prices. Place is always kept clean and service is very good. Plenty of seating on two floors and toilets are always in good condition.
