However, on other fronts, it seems like the management may be preoccupied with other matters. The restroom facilities are not up to par with other modern shopping outlets. For example, the layout of the toilets is becoming outdated, with doors and handles that may not promote proper hand washing practices. On multiple visits, it has been observed that the facilities at Sainsbury's are not as advanced as those of a nearby retailer. During a recent visit to Sainsbury's at Sprucefield, there was a disappointing experience at the foreign currency exchange booth, which is situated next to the check-out area. The setup is not customer-friendly, especially for older individuals with hearing impairments, as they have to bend down to hear what the staff member is saying through poorly placed speakers. It is suggested that the management visit a Santander bank branch to see how staff are positioned at eye level with customers. It may be time for Sainsbury's to reevaluate their layout and customer experience. Overall, Sainsbury's is a good food shop, but there are areas that could use improvement.
I frequently shop at Sainsbury's and recently tried the fish from Keohane's in Bantry. It is the most delicious fish I have ever bought from Sainsbury's. Highly recommended!
This is a great grocery store with high-quality and dependable food options. They offer a variety of local products, which is a plus. However, they recently started selling imported meat, which negatively affects local farmers. It's understandable given the global pandemic situation, but it still has an impact on the community.
Coffee shop revolting, waste of space and staff are so bored they do not even smile. Not very inviting after spending 300 on a big shop.
A decent bacon sandwich for £2. Served quickly and hot. Great pot of tea. Very friendly staff, clean and family friendly. As we were away for a few days staying at Premier Inn, we weren’t prepared to pay for their overpriced breakfasts. The Sainsbury’s cooked breakfasts looked good and others seemed to enjoy so I would happily choose it. Have also been here in afternoon and was happy then. Shame that some of The Sainsbury’s cafes in England couldn’t be more like this one!
