Portugalia Cervejaria Colombo - Lisboa

Como é o hábito que comemos muito bem, grande du lombo em pica pau, um conselho 250g para cada pessoa de perfeitamente, como entrada comemos croquetes e gambás com pinheiro, p serviço foi um espetáculo um cavalheiro muito simpático que deu bom conselho, dilema para o chefe do restaurante para mudar os sais porque minha filha não foi dito pouco quando era para colocar sal na comida o saleiro abriu e mimou o prato

Mi sono quasi fatta cenare in questo posto. Ho trovato ragazzi molto gentili e disponibili, buon cibo e prezzo onesto. Se siete nel centro della Colombia e non volete sorprese, pranzate o cenate tranquillamente qui.

We have been visiting Portugália restaurants for many years, in fact it has been almost a tradition for us every time we fly to Lisbon. Lately the food quality and sometimes even the service has visibly gone down unfortunately. This time we visited the restaurant at Colombo shopping mall and the experience was negative. We ordered bacalhau á brás (a favourite of ours within the many Portuguese dishes) pointing out that one of them could not have any coriander in it. The dishes arrived and both had coriander in it. They were only luke warm and almost flavourless as well. After sending one back, the dish came back with no coriander and absolutely no flavour at all and once again only luke warm, almost cold. Service was only good with the first person who saw us at the table offering some starters, everyone else was uninterested and vague in their service. This is definitely not the restaurant(s) we used to know as Portugalia. We will not be going back.

We were at Colombo shopping mall looking for a place to have dinner and watch a soccer game so we ended up in this place. It's a simple restaurant with many Portuguese dishes. I picked a bitoque (beef, rice, fries, egg and salad). It tasted okay, just like the dishes my family had but nothing more than that. We paid around €10 per person. It was a decent dinner but there way better restaurants in Lisbon. Service was reasonable.

Back in Lisbon for few days, Saturday afternoon , where to go for lunch? I remember the good old Portugalia steak from my youth. The Portugalia steak is, for almost 100 years, very famous in Lisbon, and Portugal. Let's go and see if the piece still worth the name. So I went to a modern one in Colombo shopping centre, and sit on the counter, as a solo person should do... Order a striploin one,a black Portuguese beer, and sone Caroquetes, just for the wait. While waiting ManUnited 4-Reading 0 for the FA Cup. It arrives. The look??? GOOD... Everything I expected was there, the sauce, the fried egg, French fries...all of it. And so good both on the memory lane and also on my mouth. Among other specials, as a Potuguese Cervejaria should have, like sea food, Portuguese dishes and meet, the steak with the sauce is one of my favorite. They have it in chicken,pork and beef. The beef one you can choose from rump, striploin and sirloin. I had the middle, so striploin. So tender, so tasty, really good. Really recommend for a quick meal or a longer family friends dinner. Hope you enjoy it as I did. Looking at the clock and between tasting my steak, football on TV and write this review, almost two hours. It's time to go but before, the service is great, very friendly and of course the €€€, also very good.
