Having delicious breakfast sitting outside of the restaurant was one of the best moment of my life. Another thing i felt relaxed when sunlight kiss my face while watching the street view.

Pork steak portugiesen type in small pieces, sauce, with fries and pickles on the top. the small pieces were in order, the food came in a bowl swimming in the sauce, and the pickles upstairs were oliven. also grilled salmon with potatoes and a little green wine. the salmon was dry and the taste was good. when the waiter got the teller, we left the half of the food. I'm sorry, but after this question nobody was interested in another conversation.

Literal 100m from the square where all restaurants seemed like tourist traps. this little place is guided by a man and woman, and eating and drinking were both beautiful and good. very friendly and the prawn tapas in oil was beautiful....very place to sit outside and watch how the world passes.

We got into this place by chance. While walking in Alfama, we noticed this little rustic restaurant and even if the place is not new, it seemed very authentic and we decided to give it a try! The property is run by an old couple...(I guess). I ordered an octopus salad and I asked the owner to suggest me which fish to choose as main plate. My vegetarian friend took the veg plate which consisted in mixed vegetables with egg (delicious It was a generous portion and extremely tasting. Total price for 2 people including bread, cheese, sardinha paté, 1 soup, 1 vegetarian plate, 1 octopus salad, 1 fish and wine: 35€. I totally recommend this authentic and absolutely tasting restaurant.

If you are looking for a delicious and hearty vegetarian meal in Alfama, this is the place! The legumes a bras' are absolutely delicious, very filling and fairly priced. We sat outside the restaurant, so can't really comment on the general cleanliness inside, and sure...the waiter was a little grumpy, but the quality of the food was great and the setting was charming! Lovely bread and cheese too.
