Foccacia-In Giro - Lisboa

We just stumbled on this place while walking around the Feira da Ladra flea market and were so glad we did! We'd originally just planned to have a drink and cool off for a bit, but after we found out they had a number of gluten free menu options, we decided to have a late lunch there as well. We ordered the zucchini noodles with avocado pesto and the quinoa tabule and both were amazing! A perfect blend of flavors! It's not often that we find dishes that are so healthy and yet taste so good! We were so impressed with those dishes that, in spite of not really being hungry, we tried a couple of the gluten free deserts a very rich flourless chocolate cake and a French almond cake. The chocolate cake was very good and creamy, but we were truly blown away by the almond cake! It was extremely moist and absolutely delicious! So good that we ordered one to take away as well! The cocktails were also terrific! We started with one aperol spritz which is a go to drink for us when it's hot, but inspite of how easy they are to make, we've found that not everyone can make a good one, so we wanted to see how they did before ordering a second one. When it came, it was perfect, but while we were waiting, I noticed a limoncello spritz on the menu which I had never heard of before, so decided to order one of those. Glad I did! It was really nice and, for me, even more refreshing than an aperol spritz to counter the heat. Just another example of the creativity of this menu! And, I have to give a special thanks to Angelica, the owner, who was so helpful and friendly! When she heard we were looking for gluten free options, she came over herself to make sure that we were taken care of and answered all our questions about the menu. She is clearly a talented chef and has put a lot of thought into the menu options at both Tazzo in Giro and it's sister restaurant, Focaccia in Giro, next door. The staff here follows Angelica's lead as they were all very friendly and helpful, even showing us how they make the beautiful zuchinni spirals! And, thanks to Zoe for patiently waiting on us during both of our visits. She was always smiling and had a such a positive attitude! We were so impressed by this restaurant that we made a point to return for one more meal there before we left Lisbon. Lots of great food in Lisbon, but this was the highlight for us! Can't recommend it enough if you are looking for healthy, delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere!

The green crepe is fantasti for breakfast. The service is friendly. Came back for a second day. Would fully recommend to anybody

If you looking for healthy, simple and vegan food in Lisboa, this is one of it. It was nice lunch light and healthy lunch. we had Lentil’s salad and gnocchi with mushrooms. The green juice also no sugar and was fein!

Here you get a decent vegan sandwich. my had brave, courgette, tomaten and green apple in a beautiful focaccia bungalow.

We tasted both vegan boobs that were quite delicious. would have appreciated some better Foccacia options as the brot really looked good.
