Amazing place for the breakfast. Excellent service from Toufik
No final, eles me cobraram apenas 4,60 euros. The correct name of the store is Café GELO, not GEFO as mentioned on this site. It is located at Praça D Pedro IV, 64 in Lisbon I want to leave a warning to all potential customers of this store, particularly tourists, whether national or foreign. This patisserie, of which I have been a customer for several years, is today converted into a place where customers are shamelessly robbed, namely unsuspecting people and unwary tourists. Yesterday I went to this shop with my wife as we usually do at least once a week. We ordered two coffees and two simple cakes. In the end, when I asked the waiter for the bill, he informed me that I had to pay 12.40 euros. Surprised at the amount they were charging me, I demanded the presence of the store manager and asked him to explain to me how it was possible to ask me that amount for two miserable coffees and two cakes? I informed him that I would pay the required amount, as long as they give me a detailed invoice for this expense to later present to the competent authorities. The manager, very flustered, apologized profusely and made a strange sign to the employee who had served me as if they both had a deal on this scam. In the end they only charged me 4.60 euros. Impressive, don't you people think so? Added to all this is the poor service provided by untrained employees, most of whom are poorly paid emigrants, who accept being shamefully exploited in order to survive. Place to avoid.
Experiência maravilhosa recomendo. Parabéns Vanessa e sua equipa
WARNING, AVOID THIS PLACE! The place has plenty of bad reviews as we noticed afterwards. The waitress claimed they have Happy hour, but when making the order it had ended half an hour ago. The dishes looked nothing like in the menu and the salad was missing an ingredient. Edible food but you could make better at home. The final insult was that they added a 5% tip that was mandatory to pay and nowhere on the menu. Not sure, but this could be illegal
