Banana Cafe Belem - Lisboa

Had a sandwich here and it exceeded my expectations! Delicious and a great price! Also a nice spot to sit and relax in the shade after visiting the monastery!

There is a young girl and lad working tonight and they have been very friendly and helpful! My husband and I have enjoyed a port or two that they recommend and sat outside enjoying the relaxed atmosphere!

Delicious quick bite to eat for lunch. €5.50 or less for a sandwich. Next to monastery so convenient location but far enough away from the annoying crowds of people, making it the perfect location for lunch. Outside seating with plenty of shade. Quick service. Easy to spot as food is ordered from what looks like a tram car in a small park.

Another good spot to have a cold drink in Belém, Lisbon. This place is curious... it’s an old electric converted in a cafe. It’s well located in Belém, close to the main attractions in the area. Public transportation available in front (bus/ electric stop). It can be difficult to find a parking spot for the car. The menu of this small cafe doesn’t have a big variety, but the food I had was good. Staff was friendly. Has a splanade.

Stopped here for some coffee after picking pastries up from Pasteis de Belem. Lovely outdoor cafe with a nice coffee with milk for €1.50! Watch the world go by.
