Agulha No Palheiro - Lisboa

Wonderful place, the best food we had in Lissabon. Great service. We had great luck to get a table without a reservation but being there early before opening paid off. Will visit again!

It was very tasty food and the waitress was really nice and took good care of us. The really was really nice and cosy. They work with shared plates which make it possible to try different dishes.

The high rating is not an exaggeration. We came here twice because it was so good and recommended this to fellow tourists we met in other restaurants. The tuna steak here was life-changing. It was like tuna sashimi encased by seared tuna. The codfish was amazing too, with a creamy sauce made of olive oil+ cod oil. The chocolate lava cake dessert was amazing too, with rich lava oozing out. For appetizers we preferred the bread with olive paste (we liked the mild subtle taste which wasnt too salty). The guacamole was a little too sour for our taste. There is an extensive wine selection too. Server was friendly and patiently explained the details of the dishes to us in English. Highly recommend.

The best Restaurant of Lisboa Great food amazing staff

Absolutely fantastic. We stumbled on this place one afternoon (just needed a bathroom! . They weren't actually open but the bar tender gave us a drink and had a conversation with us. They were about to have their staff dinner for the night and it smelled amazing. Without looking at a menu we made a reservation for later that night. What came was the most amazing meal we have had while in Portugal with some of the nicest staff you could ask for. It's a small place so don't expect to have a table ready for you right away so plan accordingly. But don't worry, they will serve you a drink while you wait outside. Can't say enough good things about this place and their staff.
