La Cambusa - LIPARI

Centrally located. Excellent food and wine but servings a bit meagre. This was the only restaurant that didn’t give us a complimentary ‘shot’ of Marsala wine during our 8 day stay in Lipari.

Six of us had a very enjoyable lunch with four choices of pizza. The host was marvellously entertaining. Whilst we ate he told us of the wonders of the island. The standout pizza, for me, was the eggplant and smoked ricotta. Very tasty.

We went to this restaurant 3 times for lunch in our week in Lipari. The food was fantastic, local ingredients and great well priced house wine. Would recommend highly.

I had octopus for a main, husband had Pasta alla Norma. We were both happy with food and service. Chose to be in the shade on a hot sunny day very happy Mid range price but happy to pay. For newbies to Italy, always be aware that some places have cover charge (Coperta) always ask if in doubt the amount we were happy to pay the 2 Euro each.
