We arrived at the restaurant a little after 11am and initially thought it was closed as there were no staff inside. Suddenly, the manager approached us from the far end and informed us that the restaurant was now open. We were actually the first customers of the day. We decided to order a group meal which included garlic fried chicken, bangus, vegetables, unlimited rice, and drinks for 4 people. As we were the first customers, the manager kindly treated us to a complimentary green salad. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious taste of their garlic fried chicken, which I found even better than Chowking's Chinese-Style Fried Chicken. I look forward to trying their house specialties, Kare-Kare and Crispy Pata, on our next visit.
We ended up having a late lunch at Ala Fiesta because our usual Hapag Kainan was fully booked. We were not disappointed. We ordered the set menu which included crispy pata (pork knuckles with an extra crunch), beef kare-kare, and fried chicken. We also added grilled squid and ensaladang mangga. It was absolutely delicious! I don't usually order fried chicken, but their unique blend was simple yet tasty. The dining experience was great as the air conditioning was comfortable and the service was excellent. We didn't have to ask for refills on our iced teas or water glasses. Parking was also very convenient.
Food is delicious. Their menu in facebook is not updated. We ordered a family meal of kare kare, crispy pata & bangus ala pobre. We were surprise on their generous servings especially the unli rice & bottomless ice tea.
Love this place. If you'd been away and in serious need of Filipino food, then Ala Fiesta will surely be a stop you will be thankful for. Loved their kare-kare!
