La Cantinetta - Linz

Best Italian cuisine in Linz. Fish is fresh, pasta is always delicious, the daily menu is always a good surprise... The Italian candy is amazing... Service is really nice and friendly, food is always a great experience.

We had a tuna salad, spaghetti seafood and pizza mushroom/shrimps and beside some house white wine. And then tiramisu/coffeee. Everything was good and cheap. Let it call a solid, but not outstanding achievement, and I fear that the visit will not remain in our memories for so long.

We bought a groupon 4-course meal for two here and our experience definitely exceeded expectations. The servers were very friendly and helpful throughout the meal and every part of the meal was delicious. We were surprised how much they really give you! 4 courses for us meant 2 big antipastos (with delicious pizza bread on the side for an extra 4eur), a giant bowl of your choice of spaghetti, salad, a large full fish and grilled peppers to share, and a panna cotta with a rich, molasses-like caramel syrup. We shouldn't have eaten everything--we left feeling completely stuffed--but it was all very good. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere. We also witnessed a very large group being somewhat rude to the servers regarding a misunderstanding about the coupon they had, and the server handled it very professionally. well done. We definitely recommend this place for some good Italian food! Just come hungry!

The first shock (because I didn't read the description correctly) was that we couldn't get in. The place is closed during the afternoon and there is no full-day reception. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, but no tea and coffee accessories. The Italian restaurant is beautiful, but expensive. However, the pleasant lady staff was especially helpful, except when we asked after her help, our luggage in the steep staircase with the perfectly valid explanation that she was pregnant. (Not good for wheelchair users or older persons). To make it friendly, the breakfast buffet was minimal. However, it is well located and only a 10-minute walk from the city centre

Sensational food, very friendly staff and cheap prices! Perfect! Try the tagliata di manzo and the dolci!
