It took over an hour for our pizza to be served and when it was, it was no longer hot. Our server was most likely to blame since she was busy chatting at another table for at least ten minutes after our pizza was ready. Since the tip is embedded in the check, she still automatically received 20%.
There are places in town with more atmosphere and who are a local business. The Forum and Greenbrier are a microcosm of Big Business and for only the “few” while their workers know they they have few other choices to work
Cesar dressing from a bottle, under cooked pasta with chicken. was the best of my 3 courses. Staff is the only reason it got the 3*. No reason to go back.
If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff was not friendly, the food was overpriced, and the soup made 1/2 of our party extremely ill. Cannot even speak about dessert because we had to skip it due to half of our party spending more time throwing up in the bathroom. Seems to be a very similar experience with the rest of the greenbrier hotel. Overpriced, outdated, and in disrepair. Had high hopes but we would not return even if you paid us.
One of the better places to eat at the Greenbrier Hotel. For lunch, I had brisket chili and my wife had butternut squash soup, both delicious, and then we split a Hot Fried Chicken. The chicken was huge so it felt like we each had more than we could eat. Everything, however is very pricey Greenbrier.
