The sauce on the sea bass is too overpowering for such a delicate sweet fish...next time I will order it without the sauce... I enjoyed the music but it was a bit loud and I couldn't bring my grandkids due to the lyrics... overall I had a very enjoyable time as dif my guest!
Everything was great. I wish the branzino could be bigger or perhaps I should eat less
3.5 rounding up to 4 overall. First and foremost, having a chic vibe classy restaurant in Lincolnwood vs the city is a great uplift, though will caveat that by saying the pricing is more appropriate for downtown chicago rather than Lincolnwood. The food was a bit mixed review and felt like maybe they have some experimental chefs as some dishes we tried were flat out bad (sorry attempt at French onion soup as a special of the day — though oddly it didn’t raise a flag that it was barely touched, no suggested change or removal from bill which is where I deducted a star on service), a tad salty (which as a self proclaimed saltaholic tells you where this sits on the salt scale) or in the case of fish overcooked in some ways (branzino was good but sea bass needed less cooking to give it the flakiness). Pasta dishes were robust and flavorful. Didn’t try the pizza, but would go back to do so as they all looked delicious.Willing to give another try bc it’s charming, a down to earth crowd and think pizzas are probably their feature hit that I didn’t actually get to try.
Very nice place. The decor is elegant and pleasant. The service was outsanding. We loved the appetizers found that some of the main courses had too much balsamic vinegar of which we are not fond. Good place.
