Captain D's Seafood - Lincolnton

If I'm not mistaken, the Captain D's in Marion, North Carolina, off Sterling Street, has been the best Captain D's I've visited in terms of food quality and impeccable service. Parking was convenient, and I noticed that the dining area was empty during my visit. The handicap parking space was conveniently located near the door. While I don’t use a wheelchair, I found the restroom to be very well-equipped for those who do, as it was clean and stocked with supplies.

The food is decent, and the service is generally good. However, during my last visit, we had to get our food to go because the dining area was busy. After a 20-minute drive home, we discovered that our order was incorrect. I called the restaurant, and they immediately recognized the mistake and offered to replace our food. This meant another 20-minute drive back. While I did receive an apology, I was disappointed that there was no offer of a future discount or compensation, especially considering gas prices. If you’re ordering takeout, I recommend checking your bag before leaving!

However, after waiting 10 minutes and watching the staff engage in a loud social event (sarcasm intended), I finally managed to get the attention of the same woman. It turned out my food had been ready at the window for quite some time, as she casually tossed everything together. The fish sandwich wasn’t spicy at all; it was just a regular sandwich that was soggy. The few fries she included were only lukewarm. I understand that it's important to have fun at work, but customers are still paying good money for their meals and deserve better treatment. And let’s not forget the manager who kept strolling past the window, also part of that social gathering.

Mom loves this place and brought us all around to it. Family pack pricing plus being able to get great tasting vegtables are a plus for kids, elderly and balanced diets all around.

All I can say the chicken was cooked well , the fries weren't all that , the service was good . The girl that waited on us was very friendly .
