Chinook Winds Golf Resort

This is a fun little course, especially considering the price. It feels like a challenging executive or municipal course with plenty of hills. It's maintained decently and features an indoor range, plus the staff at Ace's (the 19th hole) are really friendly. The course is quite short, offering only a few chances to use the driver, as I typically end up using my 5 wood or my 2-5 iron from the par 4 tees. It's a fantastic spot to improve your iron play and short game.

The greens and fairways were in very poor condition. They were dry and hard as a rock, and it looked like the grass hadn't been watered in years. For $60, I expected much better conditions, and I was quite disappointed. While there were some interesting and unique hole designs, it was difficult to appreciate them with such a lackluster overall appearance.

This golf course is well-managed and well-maintained, featuring an indoor driving range and a wide range of fitness facilities. The staff is very friendly, and if you're a golfer, you won't be let down by the experience.

We always have a good time at Chinook. The course is a little dry but that just means the balls roll further, right? The staff is super friendly and it was a good pace of play.
