I would recommend asking if the mushrooms and swirl are boiled in oil and they add to the burger when they are. they also have some salads, nachos, and a Mediterranean bowl that can extract the milk products and add a black bean paw. the service was moderate and the prices were slightly high, but I appreciate the vegan options.
I was excited when I heard that the daughter of the owner was vegan because there was the impression that they would serve a lot of plant-based options. but there were very few decisions and most were overpriced. I have the vegan pizza that was definitiw a frozen pizza that they heated (and burned) would not recommend it.
Don't be fooled by the menu description of the pizza. You will be deceived with a store bought frozen pizza, with none of the delicious promised veggies. You will also pay $17 for it. Same goes for the green salad and the veggie burger. The whole place clearly reached its peak 30 years ago and has been unable to maintain the most basic food quality. Beware!
There are 3 vegan options: hummus platter with vegetables, pizza or a burger. I got the pizza 15), which was frozen in spite of it and I only think had daiya cheese, sose, garlic and tomaten on it. the description said that it was nice, so I expected something more and fresh. great disappointment. I guess the burger is frozen too.
I would not have ventured here if it weren't for Happy Cow and I am glad I did. They had a massive grilled tofu and veg platter and there were a few other vegan options, as well. NH is not particularly vegan-friendly so this was a welcome change. Come for sunset for a pretty view of the White Mountains.
