The first time we were here and it was extraordinary! the food was absolutely delicious and worth every penny! everything is traditional and creates a beautiful environment. mr. and mrs. gearing are very appealing in various epochs and so knowledgeable about what they do. I had great joy to talk to them about history and past events, know a lot and know about sharing. many thanks for a beautiful experience I will definitely be back
We visited the tearooms for the first time yesterday. I had pre-booked the Fair Lady Afternoon Tea for two and was not disappointed, there was plenty to eat with unlimited tea and was very delicious. Being slightly off the beaten track of the main high street just added to the ambience of this authentic tea room, it really was like we were just stepping back in time. Mr Mrs Gearing were exceptional hosts very welcoming and friendly and we were not rushed like you are in some places. It was best afternoon tea we have had in Lincoln and we have tried a few! and it will really take some beating. Would highly recommend a visit here and we will be back for sure I would give it more than 5 stars if I could

My daughter I enjoyed a creamtee here every penny worth, both of us came very full feeling, all of sandwiches made fresh to cakes that were beautifully baked so venerable. the couple that it operates is very friendly, I can highly recommend this edwardian tea room so they go on treating them not regret!
