Grill'inn - Limoges

I didn't want to believe it. The Asian peril is at our gates. for 22 €, a Sunday evening, from outside the work to the deserts everything is unlimited and : of quality. as they did for the most reliable cars in the world, which I obviously tested. ♪

Restaurant designed around a buffet. the choice is immense, both in Asian cuisine (japanese, Chinese, etc.) and in traditional French cuisine. The problem is almost to choose. everything I chose was excellent, even if hot dishes lack heat, but it comes from the buffet formula. quality of report. excellent price.

I visited Grill Inn three times this summer, whilst on a 6 week holiday in the Lot region (twice on a stopover in Limoges on the way down and once more on the way up! My ex partner, who I holidayed with, had discovered it last year (with a temporary new partner and whilst she’s not a fan a buffets, raved about it! I can’t understand the low reviews here I think that people maybe expect too much it’s an ‘all you can eat buffet’ folks! True, you’ve got bog standard things like chips, onion rings and poor quality squid rings (if you’re dumb enough to load up on that stuff but you’ve also got sashimi, oysters, more types of prawns than I can list, whole sides of salmon, leg of lamb… It’s not just oriental there’s beef bourguignon and even kidneys in gravy! Add a fresh ingredient stir fry/teppanyaki section, plus every type of salad you can imagine and then there’s the massive desert menu! Amazing selection for the price! EXTREMELY popular (arrive close to opening and preferably book! Not sure if I’ll make it over next year, but I know where I’m heading if Ido!

First visit to this buffet style restaurant. Lots and lots of choice with good service but unfortunately let down by cold or at best ‘luke warm’ food.
