The Red Hen - Limerick

Looked like a club, filled with kids having some party. They offered us drinks but, took an awfully long time to attend to us. They also had some challenges with the card machine! Wonder if it was because they wanted cash payment.

Hello people, here's my feedback for The Red Hen in Limerick... Been there on a storm warning weekday night last week so it was more quiet than usual... Great drinks, nice bar staff, good EDM-DJ and a really cosy clubby atmosphere. I recommend, i would go there again. (I cannot rate their food, i had dinner somewhere else before)

I asked the bouncer if we could leave to get food and come back, and he said it was okay. We went to get food and then tried to return to Red Hen, but the bouncer was very rude and refused to let us in. He was aggressive, shoved me, and left a bruise. I was upset by the situation.

Great atmosphere with nice fresh food. Had 2 pizzas with 2 sides good portions the chicken tenders where delicious couldnt finish the pizza so took it home and still tasted great even reheated. Staff and pint great too 5 star

We arrived on time for our booking , all of us sober and ready for a great night. Unfortunately we were greeted at the door by a cow of a manager who was nothing but rude to us and told us to leave. We were very unimpressed by this especially because we are not young or troublesome students as we were just out to celebrate our friends 22nd birthday. The man at the door who claimed to be a manger offered to meet us at Burger King to “sort us out”. We were disgusted by this behaviour as all we wanted was a drink. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.
